If you are 18 years or older and have yet to register to vote in the March 7 municipal elections you have one more day to do so. The deadline for registration is tomorrow. For registration, you are required to present your original Belizean birth certificate, or Belizean passport or Belize Nationality Certificate. The latest statistics produced by the Elections and Boundaries Department as of November 2017 show that a total of 112, 781 voters have registered so far in all nine municipalities. Belize City has the most registered voters at 45, 038. Punta Gorda has the least at 3, 794. Orange Walk Town has 12,196 registered voters while 8, 562 persons have registered in Corozal Town. In San Ignacio Town, 13, 896 persons have registered there while in Benque Viejo del Carmen 4,989 persons have registered voters. San Pedro Town, Dangriga and Belmopan as of November 7 have 8, 674, 5, 771, and 9, 861 voters respectively.
