Pump Prices Reach Double Digits

Updated: May 20, 2015

In recent years, drivers and vehicle owners were grateful when they were given some relief at the gas pumps as the cost of fuel had dipped as low as seven dollars per gallon.  It was indeed a relief as the then prices were heading to the 13 dollar mark.  But as the years progressed; that seven dollars had slowly been on the incline and as recent as Monday, May 18 – the price for super gasoline reached ten dollars while diesel is up at eight dollars and four cents.  The last time the super gasoline had reached the ten dollar mark was in December 2014 but that was adjusted shortly after in January 2015 when there was a significant drop in price for both premium and diesel.
