Sporting Facilities in Southern Belize to Get Facelift

Southern Belize will be benefiting from rehabilitated sporting facilitates as two contracts were signed today in Belmopan, Cayo District.  The contracts seek to have the Carl Ramos Football Field and its Facilities in Dangriga upgraded.  Works on that project have been contracted to Hubert L Usher and Sons Construction of Dangriga, Stann Creek District.  Further down south, resident of Punta Gorda will be seeing the rehabilitation and upgrading of the Toledo Union Field and Facilities located in that municipality.  Works will be done by Coleman Construction Limited of Hattieville Village, Belize District.  The undertaking of these projects is expected to be completed in ten months.  The contracts were signed today at the office of the Belize Infrastructure Limited and had the signatures of the Minister of Works, Rene Montero as well as the General Manager of the Belize Infrastructure Limited, Christy Maestre.
