Belize Jaguars Head to the DR for World Cup Qualifiers

The National A Team of Belize, the Belize Jaguars, headed out today to represent Belize in the second round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against the Dominican Republic Football Team. The match is scheduled for this Thursday, June 11. Charlie Slusher, assistant coach for the Belize Jaguars, says that the team is well prepared and looking forward to making history.

Slusher says that the team is confident going into the match with a well revised strategy.

Woodrow West, the team’s Goalkeeper, says that the National Team has been under intense training in preparation for their match against the Dominican Republic.

All that training has assisted with a better offense and defense says Striker, Deon McCauley.

The Belize Jaguars are scheduled to return home on Friday ahead of their return match on Sunday at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan at 4:00 pm.
