Motorcycle accident leaves two men hospitalized

Two villagers of Armenia Village remain hospitalized following a motorcycle accident last night.

One man is in a critical condition at the KHMH and another is in a stable condition at the Western Regional Hospital following a motorcycle accident last night. Love News understands that on Tuesday night July 7th sometime around 7pm two brothers 23 year old Miguel Carabantes and 21 year old Santos Franco both residents of Armenia Village were travelling from the bus terminal in Belmopan en route to Armenia Village and upon reaching a bridge at an unknown area on the Hummingbird highway Franco the driver of the motorcycle lost control and collided into a cement pillar. As a result both persons were flung in the air and fell in a ditch. About an hour after they were found unconscious and were transported to the Western Regional Hospital. 23 year old Miguel Carabantes the passenger was transferred to the KHMH in a critical condition suffering from serious head and body injuries while the driver Santos Franco received injuries to the head, abdomen and face and complained of pain to his body.  He is admitted to ward in a stable condition.”
