United Democratic Party’s Frank Pawpa Mena wins Dangriga bi-election

Frank Pawpa Mena is the new area representative for the Dangriga constituency. When polls closed at six o’clock, 3,743 voters had gone to the polls which represented just under sixty percent of the registered voters. The preliminary figures indicate Frank Pawpa Mena received 2,164 while the People’s United Party received 1,526, Pastor Lue received 14 votes while 8 ballots were spoilt.
