Youths invited to be a part of concert organized by Dept. of Youth Services

The Department of Youth Services in partnership with the Advocacy Movements for Children rights has organized a two night concert. The concert will be held at the Ramada Belize City Princess Hotel on Friday and Saturday night. The concert is entitled, “Caribbean Affair” and will be held under the theme, “A taste of every land- One Sea-One Sun –One Caribbean Region. Deputy Director of Public Relations for the Department, Shawn Saldano, told Love News more.

“So the concert will have a live band musical with about six to seven vocalists who will be featuring some of the Caribbean’s greatest musicians including Luky Dube, Bob Marley, Harry Belafonte, Brad Pattico and we will tour our own Belizean musical artists looking at some hits from Frankie Renue, Andy Palacio and much other musicians including our own Ernestine Carballo, TR Shyne, we are going to be highlighting some of their hit music as we celebrate the Caribbean rhythm so it’s a very exciting and cultural performance as we experience a diverse flow of the Caribbean music and tickets are $5 for tickets and teens 17 and under, and $15 for adults. Tomorrow night Friday and Saturday 7:30 at the Ramada Princess Hotel.?”
