At today’s signing of the PUP’s Social Contract, three area representatives were absent. We were unable to asked party Leader, Francis Fonseca about the absence of John Briceno, Dan Silva and Ramiro Ramirez because there was no questions and answers following the presentation so we asked Deputy Party leader Julius Espat about it.

HIPOLITO NOVELO

“Notably absent was Mr.Dan Silva, John Briceno, Ramiro Ramirez; their signatures are not on this social contract; where are they what happened to them?”

JULIUS ESPAT

They will be here.  A lot of the guys are in their constituencies doing work and they said to the Party Leader that they wouldn’t attend but we will have everybody sign it, I’d say by the end of this week.”

HIPOLITO NOVELO

“But they do support it?”

JULIUS ESPAT

“Everybody supports it.”

LOCAL REPORTER

“Of course you have to speak for them which is not a good sign.”

JULIUS ESPAT

“I’m not speaking for them. I’m just telling you what happened.”

HIPOLITO NOVELO

“You’re telling me they support it?”

JULIUS ESPAT

“We circulated it to everybody and there was no objection and people had input that is why I know they support it.”
