The Mexican Embassy celebrates Dia de los Muertos which means Day of the Dead at the Embassy tonight. It is a day when Mexican’s and other Hispanic cultures celebrate their loved ones who have passed. Consul of Press and Legal affairs, Hugo Juarez Carrillo, spoke about why they celebrate this day and what is the significance of the day to their culture, and he says it is not a day to be sad, but a day to celebrate.

There are many ways to present your love and respect to the deceased person.  Carrillo spoke about the different ways that the three alters are celebrating, which were made by students of  Saint John’s High School, St. Catherine’s  Academy and one by the Embassy.
