Top CXC Performers Announced for 2015

The outstanding students who sat the May June 2015 CXC Examinations have been announced. Alisha Anipha Garraway of Stann Creek Ecumenical Junior College is the most outstanding candidate for the CAPE examination and is the recipient of the Belize Scholarship. Edward P. Yorke High School captured the top two spots in the CSEC examinations. Nisa Olesya Sanchez is the most outstanding candidate while Patrick Noah Pinkard also of EP Yorke placed second. Isake Devi Perez of St. Catherine Academy will receive the subject group award in Humanities as well as in the Sciences. Hanisha Pagarani of Stann Creek Ecumenical College will receive the subject group award in business studies. Edwin Xavier Otero of Edward P. Yorke High School will receive the subject group award in Technical vocational. Three thousand four hundred and fifty six candidates registered to sit the CSEC exams which is four hundred and seven candidates more than in 2014. The twenty first annual CXC national awards ceremony tu recognize the outstanding students will be held on Wednesday, November 25 at the Stann Creek Ecumenical College Auditorium in Dangriga.
