In mid-last week there was an accident in Ladyville Village, Belize District that went unreported and that had left two minors seriously injured.  Yesterday, whilst at the station, Inspector Juanito Cocom spoke of the incident that left two female minors, ages six and nine, seriously injured.  The striking thing about this incident, is that the girls were knocked down on a field next to the basketball court in Ladyville Village, Belize District.  According to the authorities, the driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old, Edward Bennett, has been known to do stunt driving particularly in the compound of Our Lady of the Way RC School in Ladyville.  Bennett is an electrician of Army Camp Road and has been issued with a notice of intended prosecution while the minors are recovering from their injuries.
