Police News: Missing Boy Found; Trio and Couple Charged for Drug Trafficking

Yesterday we reported that 12-year-old Anthony Quim was reporting missing by his mother. According to Police the young boy was found last night at a house in San Jose Village in the Orange Walk District. He is reportedly in good health.

 

Three persons from Guinea Grass Village in the Orange Walk District have been charged with drug trafficking. Police say on Wednesday morning they searched a house in the village where they found a black plastic bag containing seventy one point one grams of cannabis. A further search led to the discovery of a transparent plastic container that contained five point seven grams of crack cocaine.  Present at the time of the search were 52-year-old Jose Bonilla, his wife 45-year-old Luz Aminta Cruz and 22-year-old Reina Elizabeth Batun. All three were arrested and charged with drug trafficking.

 

A search was also conducted in Trial Farm Village which resulted in a couple being charged for drug trafficking. Police say they conducted a search at the home of 25-year-old Jeovani Danilo. According to Police they found a transparent plastic bag containing one hundred and twenty one point two grams of Cannabis. As a result Danilo, along with his common-law wife Ruby Esther Roberts were arrested and charged.
