The Special Tactical Response Squad of Special Branch in San Ignacio town executed a search warrant on December 9 at the residence of Carlos Lee a salesman on Milado Street in that municipality which resulted in the discovery of a transparent food plastic container with a black plastic bag. It was retrieved, containing some green leafy vegetables substance suspected to be cannabis. The drugs were found in another house of which Mr. Lee had a key for. The suspected cannabis was weighed in the presence of Lee and Alicia Hernandez who was at the house at the time and amounted to eighty two grams of cannabis. Both were arrested and charged for the offence of possession of control drugs with the intent to supply.  Another search was executed by the Special Branch Tactical Response Squad, this time on Dalia Street where they  found one thousand three hundred and three grams of cannabis in an empty lot.  Since no one was in the area, the drug was taken and deposited as found property.

 

Meanwhile, a joint operation with Mobile Interdiction Team and K9 personnel in San Ignacio on Dalia Street resulted in the discovery of a substance under a garbage bin on the road side with suspected marijuana. The suspected drug was weighed, amounting to twenty four grams and labeled as found property as no one was in the area.
