Opening of Drug Court Planned for End of Year

The Chief Justice Kenneth Benjamin and Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith have been working on a Drug Court. It is a way looking for an alternative for those who have been charged with drug offences. Instead of incarceration, magistrates are looking towards the option for rehabilitation. Lovette Nunez, Court Administrator spoke to Love News about the new initiative.

One way they plan to achieve this initiative is by adding organizations that apply to the situations such as National Drug Abuse Control Council.
