Police News: Missing Teen and Cattle Theft

A Wesley College student has been reported missing by her mother, Kimberly Ciego.  13-year-old, Kiannie Shantae Stevens who resides in the Jane Usher Boulevard area reportedly left home on Monday morning just before eight o’clock to go to school and has not returned home since.  Kiannie is of Creole descent, slim built with shoulder length braids.  She was last seen wearing her school uniform.  If seen you are asked to call the nearest police station.

 

 

A farmer has been robbed of some heads of cattle as he has reported to the authorities in Hattieville Village, Belize District.  According to the 60-year-old, Marcel Samuels, when he visited his farm yesterday in the Butcher Burns area near mile twenty on the George Price Highway, he found that two Heifer cattle were missing.  Samuels added that just last week, he had lost two heads of cattle and the theft on his farm is one that has been ongoing over the years.  At the farm yesterday, Samuels told police he saw spots of blood in the grass as well as indications that the cattle were dragged near the riverside.  Investigations continue.
