Women’s Day: Urgent Call to Accelerate Gender Parity

International Women’s Day is being celebrated today. The significance of the day is to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and to be aware of the progress of women in many places across the world with an urgent action call to accelerate gender parity. Executive Director of the Women’s Commission Ann Marie Williams spoke to Love News about the importance of joining in and celebrating Women’s Day.
