Baptist Found with Drugs in Prison Cell

Forty year old Glenford Baptist, who is serving a sentence of twenty five years for a conviction of murder, was charged with drug trafficking when he appeared today before Senior Magistrate Sharon Fraser. Baptist pled not guilty to the charge. His case was adjourned until June 15. The incident occurred on April 8. The police reported that when Baptist’s cell was searched by a prison officer, it resulted in the discovery of sixty three grams of cannabis.
