Who Gave the Order to Shut Down the Collet Vendors?

On Monday, a couple who are young entrepreneurs in the Collet division were forced to shut down their business. A police officer was allegedly called by a neighbor to demand that the couple close down their business. Darrel Grant and Ishtar Williams hold a business peddler’s license and a food handler’s certificate.  According to Grant he spoke to Assistant Commissioner of Police Chester Williams who told him that no officer was given an order to shut down his shop. Today, Love News visited the couple and Grant recounted what occurred on Monday.

Assisting the couple today was youth advocate, Shawn Saldano. He spoke to the media and told us about his sentiments on the issue.

Today, the media met with Assistant Commissioner of Police and he addressed the issue confirming Grant’s allegations about the officer who closed down his shop.
