Shooting on Madam Liz Crescent turns Fatal

Just after midnight on Sunday morning, April 17, 22-year-old, Kadeem Castillo was shot dead on Madam Liz Crescent in the Faber’s Road of Belize City.  According to police, they had responded to reports of gunshots in the area and upon inspection, they found Castillo with several gunshots to the chest and head and a grey vehicle fleeing the crime scene.  Love News spoke with Senior Superintendent Alden Dawson on the investigation.

“Sometime after 12am on the 17th of April police were called out to a location on Madam Liz Crescent where they saw the lifeless body of a young man, 22 year old Kadeem Castillo. A final check of the body revealed that he had two gunshot wounds to the chest and two to the head. Our investigations so far is that Castillo and another person were socializing on that street when a car drove up and three persons alighted the vehicle and fired several shots four of which caught the now deceased.”

Castillo was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
