Community Rehab Speaks on Runaway Teens

Over the weekend a group of eleven girls ran away from the Youth Hostel located at mile twenty one on the George Price Highway. There were speculations that they were making their way to the western border. During this week the hostel authorities collaborating with the Police were able to locate nine of them and remain on the lookout for the other two. Love News met today with the Acting Director of the Community Rehabilitation Department Marion Williams who shared the details of Sunday evening.


Williams also spoke about how the Hostel and the police worked together to find the girls.


Williams stated that the investigation to find out the reason of the girls escape is still ongoing.
