Adventist School Leads in Spelling Bee Competition

The B and B National Spelling Bee competition concluded today with the national finals. Eliminations rounds across the country left twelve participants competing to become the champion primary school speller. Love News was there and spoke to Coca Cola Brand Coordinator Leanni Castillo about the competition.

Castillo spoke about the importance of the annual event.

 

First place went to Jaheel Warrior of Bethel Adventist Primary School in Toledo. He gave Love News his sentiments on winning.

 

Among the prizes Warrior received were two – two thousand dollars gift certificate, a four year tuition scholarship, a laptop and a Samsung phone.  Second place went to Shaheed Perez from Bernice York School in Belize City.
