The Effects of Police’s Meet and Greet Initiative

Updated: June 21, 2016

For some time now Love News has been giving coverage to the Meet and Greet initiatives being carried out by the Belize Police Department.  This is an undertaking that sees officers going out into the various communities extending a hand of friendship and service to the residents.  The exercise is carried out quite frequently within the city and with the outreach program being in effect for some months now, we asked Assistant Commissioner of Police about the impact and effects the sessions have had.

The four precincts in the city have conducted Meet and Greet sessions, namely Precinct One headed by Superintendent David Chi, Precinct Two headed by Superintendent Marsha Moody; Precinct Three headed by Superintendent Suzette Anderson and Precinct Four headed by Senior Superintendent Lynden Flowers.
