A National Executive meeting concluded at around one o’clock this afternoon at the PUP’s Headquarters in Belize City.  One of the burning issues that the PUP is dealing with is their desire to have the Belize/Guatemala issue treated as a non-partisan one and the Government of Belize not cooperating on the matter.  Senator Eamon Courtenay spoke to the media following today’s meeting on the quality of representation being done by the Foreign Minister, Wilfred Elrington.

Senator Courtenay says that their call for the removal of Minister Elrington is one of several serious national concerns that they will be addressing.

We will have more on today’s meeting in tomorrow’s newscast from the Leader of the Opposition, John Briceno.
