Former Guat Minister Suspected to Be Hiding in Belize

Last month saw three senior Cabinet Ministers of Guatemala arrested on charges of corruption as authorities looked for two others.  The ministers reportedly served under the former President, Otto Perez Molina who has denied the charges of money laundering and conspiracy.  Tonight, Love News understands that Guatemalan authorities may be looking to find the former Minister of Energy, Erick Archila in Belize.  International orders for Archila and two others were sought to capture the former government officials.  According to the Chief Prosecutor, Thelma Aldana, the former officials were part of a group that used about four point three million dollars of the State’s funds to buy gifts, houses, boats and helicopters.  According to an online article published by CONGUATE, Archila has been spotted on San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.
