“I have two unfortunate incidents to report this morning. Two shooting incidents. On Friday the 22nd of July at about 10:30pm Ladyville detectives responded to a shooting incident at mile 21 on the Phillip Goldson Highway at Gardenia village at Nate’s Cool Spot. On their arrival they observed the lifeless body of a dark complexioned male person lying down on the floor of the kitchen with multiple stab wounds to his back. He was later identified as Nathan Underwood, 38 years old of a Hattieville Address. Initial investigations revealed that he was alone in his kitchen when a lone gunman came from behind the building and fired several shots at him through the window causing the fatal injuries. The scene was processed, 11 expended shells were recovered. The body of Nathan Underwood was transported to the KHMH where he awaits a post mortem at the morgue.”

Minutes after Underwood was murdered, a woman was shot while in bed. 26-year-old Rosalind Milligan was at home with her husband when a gunshot penetrated the walls of her home and hit her. Police have not established whether there is a link between both shootings. Milligan is currently at the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital.

“At about 10:45pm acting on another shooting report police visited about half mile off the old Northern Highway Sandhill village. Upon arrival the victim Rosalyn Milligan had already been taken to the KHMH for treatment. Checks made at the KHMH with Ms.Milligan 26 year old unemployed American national she was seen suffering from a single gunshot wound to her left buttocks. Investigations reveals that she and her husband Raymond Dominguez were in bed when they heard several gunshots. Apparently someone fired the shots at their house which penetrated the wall causing the injuries to Ms.Milligan. I must say that the walls of the house are of plycem. Milligan is presently at the KHMH undergoing treatment.”

And this morning, the bad news continued in Lord’s Bank. Police found a young man identified as Samuel Flowers with stab wounds to the neck bleeding profusely on Edwin Parks Avenue. Police transported Flowers to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Inspector Cocom tells us what they have gathered so far.
