The City Emergency Management Organization continues its hurricane relief work in Belize City. Today Councilor Phillip Willoughby, who is in charge of CEMO, spoke about the assessments they have conducted and the materials in form of zinc and plywood that they have obtained.

Willoughby stated, as well, that the resources are being distributed with no regards to political parties. However, he stated that CEMO has to be accountable and that is why the process takes long.

There are currently one hundred and seventy people in shelters, majority of them in Belize City. Willoughby spoke about what kind of aid the government is providing for them.

Willoughby stated that a determined financial figure for housing resources could still not be provided but he believes that they will be able to disclose the budget very soon.
