It has been fifteen days since Hurricane Earl wreaked damages upon lands and structures especially in the Belize District.  Since then we have had several agencies and countries extending a helping hand to Belize via monetary donations or in-kind contributions.  Today, the US Ambassador Carlos Moreno told the media that the embassy is in the process of providing disaster relief aid to the country.

Assistance has come from Taiwan, the European Union, the Caribbean Development Bank as well as local businesses in the private sector.
