Members of the Gang Suppression Unit took another firearm off the streets this past weekend after they had received reports of the shots fired in the Antelope Street Extension area of Belize City.  Upon arrival,  information was gathered and it was discovered that two male persons had fired shots in the area but no one was injured. Members of the Gang Suppression Unit conducted a search in the vicinity of where the shots were fired and as a result, a black nine millimeter Glock pistol with its magazine loaded with eleven (11) live 9mm rounds of ammunition was found in a drain. No one was in the immediate area where the firearm was found therefore; it was kept and taken to the GSU office at the Queen Street Police Station where it was sealed and labeled as Found Property.
