COLA’s President Arrested for Bonfire among Others

The President of Citizen Organized for Liberty through Action, COLA, Geovanni Brackett, was charged in relation to the bonfire set at the Belcan Bridge on Monday. Brackett handed himself over to police this morning and Love News reporter, Hipolito Novelo was there to see how it unfolded.  Here is his report.

Also arrested and charged for causing a bonfire was Perry Smith. Smith, Brackett and Pascasio all pled not guilty to the charge and they were released on bail of $500 each. Their next court date is November 30. Brackett and Smith were represented by attorney Kareem Musa while Pascascio was represented by attorney Anthony Sylvestre.
