Two men were brought before Magistrate Emerita Anderson to answer to multiple charges following the assault of Police Constable Mark Rodriguez which occurred on Sunday evening at Outback Ranch in Camalote Village, Cayo District.  The charges against the men, Belhem Guzman and Sanjay Casey, are attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm, dangerous harm and aggravated assault. The duo were also charged for damage to property brought by the owner of the bar and common assault of a woman who was in the bar at the time. We spoke with the mother of one of the accused who believes that her son would have had to be pushed to get to take things to that extreme.
