International Human Rights Day will be commemorated tomorrow. The Human Rights Commission of Belize says it is pleased to observe that there is an increased understanding of human rights by Belizeans and as a result more people are promoting and protecting their right and the rights of those  too vulnerable to speak out. We spoke to President, Attorney Leo Bradley Jr.

Earlier this month HRCB held its twenty ninth annual general meeting. Bradley was elected as President, Kevin Arthurs is the Vice President, Secretary is Cynthia Pitts, and Treasurer is Maria Gamero while Trustees are Rick August, Earl Jones and Mr. Griffith. The Commission says it continues to provide services to persons whose rights are violated.
