Four organizations were given donations this morning through the Office of the Special Envoy for Women and Children.  The handing over took place just before ten o’clock with Kim-Simplis Barrow making presentations to the Liberty Children’s Home, the Belize Red Cross, Hands in Hands Ministry and the Forest and Marine Reserve Association of Caye Caulker.  Present at the handing over was Elvira Mendez, Junior Counsellor for Belize at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC; she spoke to Love News on their participation in this particular initiative.
