Stepson Charged with Attempted Murder

Nineteen year old Denzel Flowers, a welder who allegedly chopped his step-mother, was charged with attempted murder when he appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Anne Marie Smith. Flowers was also charged with dangerous harm and use of deadly means of harm. He was remanded into custody until February 11, 2017. The police reported that at about 10:55 a.m. on December 8, based on information they received, they went to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they saw 52 year old Eulalia Pop suffering from multiple chop wounds to her head and arms. Initial information from the police revealed that Pop and her step-son had a misunderstanding and he chopped her several times with a machete.
