Corozal Police were called out to the village of San Narciso over the weekend where a laborer lost his life.  According to Police Commander, Superintendent Dennis Arnold, three persons were at the lagoon in the village paddling a canoe when it began taking in water.  Just after four o’clock on Sunday afternoon the canoe capsized and the trio went overboard; two of them managed to swim to shore but 28-year-old, Luis Alfredo Hernandez was not so lucky.  His body was retrieved from the lagoon at around seven o’clock last night.
