Back in 2013, a female minor had given a report of rape to the police and had pointed at 43-year-old, Felicito Sho as being the perpetrator.  Fast forward to today and Sho, who is a mason and driver of Belize City has walked away from the charge of rape when the young woman who is now nineteen years old noted that she would not be pursuing the matter further.  The case was being heard before Justice Adolph Lucas when the Crown Counsel, Sherigne Rodriguez entered a nolle prosequi indicating that the prosecution cannot proceed.  The young woman, in her complaint, had noted that sometime in May 2013 she was awoken at three o’clock in the morning by Sho who proceeded to have sexual intercourse with her against her will.  Sho was represented by Senior Counsel Simeon Sampson.
