Duo Injured in Drive-By Shooting

There was another shooting incident last night on the south side of the old capital leaving two persons injured.  Police reports say that 24-year-old, Reese Riverol and 27-year-old, Joseph Rowland were on a motorcycle heading onto Raccoon Street from the direction of Pelican Street when gunshots were fired in their direction from someone inside a black SUV which came up behind them.  Riverol was shot to the right ankle while Rowland received cuts and abrasions on both legs.
