William Danny Mason returned to the Belmopan Courtroom this morning for the preliminary inquiry surrounding the  charge of kidnapping as it relates to the July 2016 abduction of Pastor Llewellyn Lucas and a Canadian couple.  Due to the absence of Mason’s attorney, the matter was adjourned to June 12. Mason along with Ashton Vanegas, Keron Fernandez, Terrence Fernandez, and Ernest Castillo are set to stand trial for the kidnapping and murder of Pastor Lucas. Mason is accused of being the mastermind behind the beheading of Pastor Lucas in 2016. Police have said they have evidence against the alleged culprits, including a video recording. After ACP Chester Williams submitted the evidence, the office of Director of Public Prosecution is now handling the case.
