In Friday’s Sitting of the House of Representatives, former Prime Minister Said Musa spoke on the Heritage Bill which went through its second reading.  He brought about some harsh criticisms against the Bill basically saying that it should be invested otherwise.  In addition, Musa spoke of the air conditioning unit at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts to which Minister of Culture, Patrick Faber responded.

As it relates to the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH), Musa noted that it is an agency of cocktail parties.  Of course, Faber disagreed and defended NICH vehemently last Friday.

Minister Faber went on to speak of several other projects in progress under his portfolio of youth and sports.

Faber has been the substantive minister for the youth, sports and culture portfolio since November 2015 but had relied on the former Minister of State, Elodio Aragon Junior who was moved to the Ministry of Home Affairs in November 2016.
