Sharon Palacio Moro

“Diabetes Type 2 is reversible and the young people that we had today the idea is that they are the very ones who will be able to educate their parents, and friends regarding killer diabetes and as you rightly said the cycle that we are looking at, we call it the killer cycle and the complications caused by diabetes.”

Dr. Ivan DePaz

“I believe that educating the children is an excellent idea because they are the future of Belize. We can still put a seed of change in their minds so that they can see the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the visits to the healthcare facilities in order to treat conditions on time and avoid the devastating complications of diabetes.”
