Twenty-six-year-old Eugene Fraser, an unemployed of Collet Canal Street, was charged with use of deadly means of harm when he appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Sharon Fraser. No plea was taken because the offence is of an indictable nature. Neither could the court offer him bail. He was remanded into custody until January 9. The incident occurred on Saturday, November 11. The victim, 41-year-old Clinton Abraham, reported to the police that he was riding his bicycle on Magazine Road, heading towards Cemetery Road, when he was approached by a lone gunman who fired a single shot. Abraham received a minor injury to his left knee. He was treated at the KHMH and was released.
