No Foul Play Suspected in Death of American Tourist

An American tourist from California died yesterday while visiting the ActunTunichil Muknal cave in the Cayo District. Police say that sixty-eight-year-old Doctor MadhukarJigjini was along with his wife and other tourists at the cave when he began feeling faint, thereafter losing consciousness. He was rushed to the Western Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Investigators did not observe any signs of violence on the body and they do not suspect foul play. The body now awaits a postmortem examination. With more than twenty years of experience, Dr. Jigjinni was a gastroenterologist in Santa Ana, California and was affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area.
