Brandon Tillett remanded to prison on a firearm charge

1 min read

Thirty-one-year-old Brandon Tillett, also known as “BET”, appeared before Chief Magistrate Sharon Fraser where a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm was read to him. Tillett pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded to the Hattieville prison until February 2, when he is due back in court. On January 1, the complainant, Tillett’s baby mother reported to police that Tillett shot at her while she was in her car in Burrell Boom Village.  As a result, she quickly leaned over, taking a hold of her baby in the hopes that they would avoid getting hit. Tillett denied the allegation and claimed that he was in Los Lagos at the time.
