Canadian delegation mets with Minister of Transport

Minister of Transport and National Emergency Management, Edmond Castro,  along with a team of officials including Minister of State in the Ministry of Public Service, Energy and Public Utilities, Frank Mena; Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Transport and National Emergency Management, Ruth Meighan; and Belize’s Ports Commissioner, Merlene Bailey-Martinez met with a Canadian delegation made up of representatives from the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) and a Canadian construction company, JV Driver. The delegation is in Belize to discuss the CCC works and any interest from the Government of Belize in infrastructure or other large projects.  CCC is a Canadian government corporation offering to contract for government contracts, among other services; and the JV Driver Group offers a wide range of contractor and construction services and engineered products in these sectors.
