Coast Guard charged with stealing engines

A Coast Guard Officer has been charged with theft. The Officer in charge of the Corozal Customs Enforcement Unit reported that from about mid to the end of July, six outboard engines, valued at fourteen thousand dollars, which were inside a containerized warehouse were stolen. Yesterday, Police recovered two of the stolen engines. 26-year-old Daniel Ack of Dominguez Layout in Corozal was charged for theft.
