Corozal resident released on bail for hit and run

31-year-old Olguin Elmer Hall of Ranchito Village in the Corozal District has been charged in connection with a hit and run incident that occurred this past weekend.  Hall was reportedly the driver of the vehicle that knocked down 31-year-old Armando Witz as he was riding his bicycle on College Road on Saturday. Witz was severely injured and was taken to the hospital however he died on Monday.  Hall was arraigned and offered a bail of twelve thousand dollars which he met. He was charged with manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct, driving vehicle without due care and attention, failing to report accident and failing to stop and render aid.
