Dangriga residents complain about street conditions

1 min read

Harry Arzu reporting…

“Residents of this municipality continue to lament over the deplorable conditions of many of the streets here in town and clogged up drains that they say are affecting their quality of life especially during this period of rains. They complained by saying without drawing much attention to themselves that they are appalled by the numerous potholes on the streets of Dangriga as well as clogged up drains that are causing some of the streets and yards in various areas of town to be covered with water due to the incessant rains. Despite the fact that some unpaved streets were recently graded by the local government here, residents are beseeching the local authority to address these concerns in an effort to ease their burdens and to improve their quality of life. Meanwhile, some parents have exercised their discretion by now allowing their children to attend classes today due to localized flooding in some areas of town.”
