Robbers hit Chinese business in Dangriga for the third time

Police in Dangriga is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a business establishment in that municipality. Correspondent Harry Arzu has the story.

“Love FM: Shortly after seven o’clock last night three male persons of dark complexion entered Bengushe store located on Penn Road here in the Bengushe area of town and held up the proprietor and an employee at gunpoint. In the process of the ordeal one of the perpetrators hit a Chinese business woman four times in the head with what appears to be a .38 revolver hand gun and soon after took some money from out of the drawer from inside the store, then stole about $350 from an employee who was selling Boledo. The perpetrator who had the people in the store in fear including a security guard who was only armed with a baton made good their escape with $930 in value inclusive of two Samsung flip phones and phone cards; police here are looking for them. This is the third time that the store has been robbed. Reporting for Love News from Dangriga I am Harry Arzu.”
