20-year-old, Degron Joseph  appeared before Senior Magistrate Aretha Ford where he was charged with theft. Joseph pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety. It is alleged that on April 13, 2019, he stole from Special Constable, Michael Craig a bag containing nine hundred and twenty dollars, and two receipt books, value $5.00 each, a total of $930.00, the property of Belize City Council which was proceeds collected from the Michael Finnegan Market Sale vendors. The case was adjourned to June 18.
