ASP Alejandro Cowo, Head of CIB:  “Emerson Talbert, a 25 year old Belizean of #67 Racecourse Street was at a friend’s house located at number #33 Cemetery Lane. Whilst playing a videogame along with his other friends a male person entered from the front door and fired a single shot at his direction. He was rushed to the KHMH where he was admitted in a critical condition. Unfortunately he succumbed to his injuries this morning sometime after 10am. We had spoken to two persons who were inside of the residence at the time of the shooting and we have gathered a little bit of information from them.”

Police continue to investigate the matter and at this time no one is detained for the incident.
