The year 2017 came to an end on Sunday, but not before taking with it 21-year-old Frederick Smith. Smith was gunned down in the old capital. The family is in shock and disbelief over the death of their loved one. Smith’s grandmother spoke with the media about her grandson.
“Well he would come if he wanted a little bit of food and I would give him like that and he was a nice grandson so when I heard the thing it shot me because I didn’t know if he was going out to the park when I heard someone shoot him to the back; I don’t know. A nice person. A boy that liked when there was a family event he would have his girl with him and so to come and run a little joke with me. I know him to be a nice person. I was in church when I got the news, I fainted right there in church.”
Police gave the details of the last murder of 2017 at this morning’s press brief.
